Important Information:

  • The VIP Hospitality Suite opens at 9am and closes at 5pm on each day.
  • Please note that the complimentary bar will close at 4.45pm on each day.
  • Smart casual wear is required in the TT VIP Hospitality Suite. We would encourage those arriving by bike not to wear leathers in the Suite.
  • The TT gift pack will be issued to each ticket holder on arrival at the TT VIP Hospitality Suite.

EVENT:
Q. What is the date of the event?
A. Friday 26th May – Friday 8th June 2012
26th May to 1st June 2012 Practice week
2nd June to 8th June 2012 Race week

Q. Where is the event being held?
A. Isle of Man located in between Ireland and the United Kingdom.

Q. Is Sportsnet Holidays an Official and/or Appointed operator?
A. Sportsnet is an Officially Appointed Operator for the Isle of Man TT.

TICKETS:
Q. Can I buy tickets without accommodation?
A. No, you must buy the entire escorted tour which cannot be amended.

Q. Are there concession tickets available?
A. No only adult prices.

Q. Can I request where I sit?
A. No our group has a reserved area which will be confirmed closer to the event.

Q. Are there different standards of tickets? If so, what are they?
A. Yes you have the option to take our package with grandstands on the four major race days or upgrade to VIP Hospitality Package.

Q. Are the Grandstands reserved seats?
A. No, Grandstands are not reserved seats. Your Grandstand ticket will allow you into your allocated Grandstand which is unallocated seating.

Q. Do you have access to any Corporate Hospitality options?
A. Yes we have access to Corporate Hospitality options with our corporate hospitality escorted tour.

ACCOMMODATION:
Q. Can I request a hotel which is not listed on the Sportsnet Holidays website?
A. No, you will have to use the accommodation option provided in the package.

Q. Can I upgrade my room type?
A. No, only room types in our package are available.

Q. Is there a minimum night stay for the package?
A. Minimum night stay of 9 nights

Q. Can you do Triple Rooms?
A. No, we can only offer Single, Double or Twin share rooms.

FUNCTION:
Q. Is there a function included in the package?
A. There will not be an official function, but there will be farewell drinks on the last evening.

Q. Where is the function?
A. Farwell drinks will be at the Palace Hotel Casino in one of the 4 bars.

Q. Are food and drinks included at the function?
A. Food is not included however drinks are included.

TRANSFERS:
Q. Are transfers included from the airport to my hotel? If so, what type?
A. Yes, transfers are included throughout your tour.

Q. Are transfers included from my hotel to the event? If so, what type?
A. Yes, coach transfers are included. For the days coach transfers are not included you can utilise your 7 day Explorer Pass which includes unlimited transport on the Island.

Q. What happens if I miss my transfer?
A. Don’t miss it!

FLIGHTS:
Q. Are flights and pre-paid airfare taxes included within the package?
A. Yes, flights ex Melbourne, Sydney Brisbane and Perth and taxes are included in the package. For all other Australian cities you will have to make your own arrangements to these ports. Sportsnet Holidays can organise this for you.
Q. What If I don’t want flights?
A. You can remove flights and this will take $1915 off the package.
Q. Can I fly Business or First class?
A. Yes, please ask your consultant to help you with this.

DESTINATION:
Q. What language is predominantly spoken?
A. English is predominantly spoken. Few people speak the native Manx Language.
Q. What is the weather generally like at the time of the event?
A. Summers in the Isle of Man are cool. The island typically enjoys British weather. Exposure to sea breezes keeps average summer temperatures in the early to mid-twenties.
Q. Do I need to take specific medical precautions?

Q. What currency do I use?
A. You can use the UK pound. Isle of Man does print its own notes but the UK pound is perfectly acceptable.

GENERAL:

Q. Is there a minimum number for the tour?
A. The tour needs to meet minimum numbers of 20 people to go ahead.

Q. Is there a maximum number for the tour?
A. Yes the maximum number of clients is 36 plus a Sportsnet Tour Host.

Q. Am I able to hire bikes in the UK and bring it over to Isle of Man? Or can I hire in the Isle of Man?
A. You cannot hire bikes in the UK or Isle of Man over this time.

Q. Can I extend my trip beyond the event dates?
